Following an introduction on the Swedish healthcare system by the Director of the representative Swedish Association of Local and Regional Authorities, the delegates visited several exemplary care facilities, both in the private and the public sectors. These visits have highlighted the variety of supporting devices offered according to the degree of patient autonomy.

To complete this program, the group visited the ''Valley of Robots'', Robotdalen, to learn about innovation and new assistance opportunities developed by medical robotics.

Thanks to the visits of the Silviahemmet Foundation, the Memory Clinic of the Karolinska Institute and the Swedish Dementia Centre, delegates have been able to measure the development in training, diagnosis and care in this area.
