From 1 to 3 April 2025, a delegation of 13 participants travelled to Stockholm to draw inspiration from good professional practice in the field of innovative management in the healthcare and medico-social context.
From 1 to 3 April 2025, a delegation of 13 professionals from the healthcare and medico-social sector travelled to Stockholm, Sweden, for a study mission focusing on innovative management.

Organized by Dialog Health, the trip provided an opportunity to discover inspiring and transferable practices in a country renowned for the quality and accessibility of its healthcare system.

Day 1 - Immersion in the Swedish system

The visit began with a meeting with the Swedish Association of Local and Regional Authorities (SKR), a key player in the organisation of healthcare in Sweden.

Highlights of the day:
  • Presentation of the Swedish healthcare system, often cited as a model of universality and efficiency.
  • Focus on innovative management practices deployed at local level to meet the sector's current challenges (attractiveness, management and quality of working life).

Day 2 - Between hospital excellence and social support

This day provided an opportunity to visit two major pillars of the Swedish landscape: a university hospital of excellence and a key private player in the medico-social sector.

Morning at Karolinska University Hospital:
One of the most prestigious hospitals in the world shared its strategies for attracting and retaining nursing staff, in the presence of :

Magnus Flodberg, Health Centre Director

Afternoon with Ambea, Scandinavia's leading provider of care services:
Through its subsidiaries (Vardaga, Nytida, Stendi, Altiden), the company provides support to vulnerable groups with an approach focused on quality and innovation.

Day 3 - Excellence and capitalisation

Morning at Sophiahemmet Hospital:
Founded in 1884 under royal patronage, this private not-for-profit hospital is associated with the university of the same name. It provides specialist care to more than 600,000 patients every year, in collaboration with 350 specialists and 40 independent healthcare providers.

Afternoon: group debriefing session
A time for exchanging ideas, which is essential to :
  • Identify the key lessons learnt from this immersion
  • Brainstorm ways of adapting the project to the French context
  • Strengthen the network of professionals involved in managerial renewal.
