In
October 2025,
Dialog Health coordinated the visit of a
delegation of 22 Chinese healthcare professionals to the nursing home
EHPAD ACEP Le Patio, an establishment welcoming
193 residents in a warm, secure environment designed to support people with
multiple chronic conditions.
A facility recognized for its comprehensive approachThe visit highlighted a structured and progressive organization combining specialized care, adapted activities, and support for families. Several initiatives drew particular interest:
- Alzheimer day care unit. 10 places
- PASA (Adapted Activities and Care Unit). 14 places
- Reinforced Care Unit. 12 places, dedicated to severe behavioral disorders
- CRT program, supporting transitions between home and residential care and assisting caregivers
Practical choices that enhance quality of careBeyond these programs, discussions underscored operational factors shaping daily quality of life:
- A “discreet yet present” medical model with salaried primary care physicians and 24/7 nursing coverage
- Regular therapeutic activities led by dedicated teams
- A living environment designed for comfort and connection. Landscaped park, shared spaces, and connecting rooms for couples
- Integrated services promoting well-being and social ties. Hair salon and a restaurant open to families
- An eco-responsible design. Rainwater harvesting, solar energy, and an eco-designed building
- A therapeutic farm, established in 2014, supporting non-pharmacological approaches for people living with Alzheimer’s disease
This
study visit fostered direct dialogue on care practices, organizational choices, and solutions that support continuity between home and residential settings.
Dialog Health warmly thanks the speakers for the quality of the exchanges and the entire
EHPAD ACEP Le Patio team for their welcome, availability, and daily commitment.
