John Bost Foundation staff learn about social support to disabled in Germany.
In France, the John Bost Foundation provides care to people with physical, mental and cognitive disabilities.

As part of best practices sharing program consisting of 6 visits the Foundation staff went to Germany.

Visit to Bielefeld was the first part of the tour where the delegates learned more about Bethel Foundation, a German counterpart of John Bost Foundation.

Bethel Foundation is considered the best organization for socialization of the disabled. They cooperate with several residency and care facilities thus the care is provided patient-specific. Such facilities include: special needs schools, educational centers and vocational centers, private workshops and residency facilities adapted for disabled. Such facilities provide household assistance as well as medical and social care contributing to socialization and social integration of the disabled.

By the end of the visit the delegates could tour the leading services and establishments of Germany: P.A.N Zetrum neurorehabilitation center, Fürst Donnersmarck intensive care division, Leben Lernen gGmbH am EDKE care for disabled center (at Evangelist Church of Queen Elizabeth) that includes: a boarding facility, vocational training rooms and social and medical care center.
