Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must acknowledge you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions.

Study Tour Changes:

Every effort will be made to deliver the advertised SAGE Tours program, however changes may sometimes be required. Where changes are made, SAGE Tours will continue to provide the same quality consistent with the intent of the advertised study tour.

Prices:

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice unless due to Force Majeure/pandemic/epidemic the tour has to be postponed and we are forced to adjust pricing. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full.

Cancellations:

Cancellation Fees: All payments are non-refundable once paid.

Cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Fees will also apply where a booking is changed or tickets are re-issued. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge.

SAGE Tours requires a minimum number of participants for the tour to proceed. If the minimum numbers are not achieved, SAGE Tours has the right to cancel the tour. In the case of cancellation for lack of minimum numbers at time of booking your deposit will be refunded.

In the case of cancellation due to any other reason eg Force Majeur, Pandemic, Epidemic, issues beyond SAGE and or Flight Centre control, cancellation fees will be subject to supplier cancellation fees. In these situations SAGE will make every attempt to postpone the program.

Postponement: Unfortunately, SAGE does not have control over any additional fees that may be charged by individual service providers as a result of postponement. In the event that any such additional fees affect the price paid by SAGE for transportation, hotel accommodation and other services, we reserve the right to adjust our prices as may be necessary. SAGE delegates will be kept informed of potential additional charges.

Deposit and Payments:

For SAGE Tours we require a minimum deposit of $1000 per delegate. All deposits are non-refundable. Final payment is required no later than 6 weeks prior to departure unless otherwise stated on your invoice. Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Credit Card Transactions, BPAY and Payment by Cheque:

Credit card surcharges apply and will be advised on invoice. If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which have contracted, remedy lies against that provider, and not against Flight Centre Limited or SAGE. In the event that payment has been made to Flight Centre Limited by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Flight Centre Limited.

Please note that BPAY takes up to 3 business days to process. If you are paying by this method you will need to pay at least 3 business days prior to the actual due date. You must notify your consultant of your payment once it has been made.

Where you pay by cheque, you agree not to stop payment of the cheque even when you cancel a booking. You agree that we may apply the proceeds of the cheque to satisfy any liability you have to us, including any liability in respect of cancellation fees, before refunding the balance to you. Please be aware that cheques take up to 5 business days to clear.

Taxes:

Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

Travel Insurance:

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for all overseas travel. It is a condition of joining a SAGE program that each delegate is adequately covered by travel insurance. We strongly advise that insurance be taken at time of booking to provide full cover.

Individuals are responsible for their own travel insurance and passport arrangements – Flight Centre can assist with this.

If you decline travel insurance you will be required to sign a disclaimer.

Flight Centre will liaise with delegates regarding visa requirements.
