As part of the study mission
“Advanced Hospital Logistics: Learning from Industrial Excellence,” organised in partnership with
ANAP and
France Supply Chain, Dialog Health led an immersive visit to hospital and industrial sites specialising in advanced logistics.
Cholet HospitalCholet Hospital, a key reference centre serving more than 250,000 inhabitants, integrated autonomous transport robots in 2022 to manage the movement of samples, medications and chemotherapy bags. The
Xup-Med robot, developed by
Meanwhile, optimises flows between the pharmacy, oncology and laboratory departments, enabling medical and nursing teams to focus on patient care. This initiative demonstrates how technology can transform hospital operations to increase efficiency and safety.
IDEA Platform – AirbusThe visit to the
IDEA logistics platform, located near the
Airbus manufacturing site, provided an inside look at a 9,000 m² facility dedicated to receiving and preparing orders. The site integrates advanced technologies such as automated vertical storage systems and AMR robots for parts transfer. Its organisation is based on Lean methods, ensuring optimised team management and continuous process improvement.
Airbus – Logistics ManagementAirbus, in collaboration with the
Groupe IDEA, optimises warehouse operations and parts supply for its assembly lines. The implementation of automated and robotised storage systems makes it possible to manage and prepare several thousand references, showcasing a highly efficient industrial logistics model.
Nantes University Hospital (CHU de Nantes)The
Nantes University Hospital demonstrates a collaborative innovation approach, bringing together hospital teams and specialised companies to develop solutions tailored to patient-care pathways. This reinforces its role as a key driver of healthcare innovation and operational excellence.
This mission provided a concrete overview of the technological and organisational innovations that are transforming both hospitals and industrial partners, strengthening operational performance, care quality and the optimisation of logistics flows.
