Accompanied by
Léo Nouchi, employment advisor at Misa and expert in the field of autism/asperger syndrome, the delegation was able to discover the Swedish social inclusion system and to take a step back from its daily practices.
Firstly, our delegation was given a presentation on the functioning of the Swedish social system by the municipal services of Stockholm.
Once this broader understanding of the local social care system acquired,
AMSP members had the opportunity to interact with their peers in several vocational schools such as
Kungs Saga,
Stockholms Transport och Fordonstekniska,
St Eriks and
Nacka. The participants were also able to observe the operation of various sheltered workshops such as
Spånga Nord and Syd and
Liljeholmen Syd. A visit to the
Glasade Gangen training restaurant showed how effective the Swedish inclusive system is.
Another example of a unique social structure,
Medis 5, presented its model of integration in the form of a moving and original interactive play. To round off this study mission, the delegation was received by the founder of
Wilja group on Wednesday.
To conclude this study tour, the association Attention and the school for the deaf and hearing-impaired
Manillaskolan presented their actions to help people with disabilities.
